We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Sheet metal Superintendent to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment within the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all sheet metal related activities on the construction site, ensuring work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial construction, with a particular focus on sheet metal work.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and to play a key role in our company's success. Salary $100,000 - $120,000 per year.

• Oversee all aspects of sheet metal work on construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Ensure that all sheet metal work is performed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of sheet metal workers and subcontractors, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to project plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
• Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may impact the successful completion of the project.
• Provide technical guidance and support to sheet metal workers, including training and development as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all sheet metal work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and any changes or modifications to project plans.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Sheet metal Superintendent in the commercial and/or industrial construction industry.
• Proven experience in self-performing sheet metal work, with a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards, with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational training in sheet metal work is a plus.
• Certifications in sheet metal work, construction safety, or related areas are highly desirable.
