The Entry-Level Business Operations Assistant supports the daily administrative and operational functions of Hamrick’s corporate office. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to begin a career in business operations within a corporate retail environment. The position provides hands‑on experience supporting multiple departments while developing professional skills in organization, communication, and business processes.
Responsibilities- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and reports
- Assist with general administrative and operational support tasks
- Assist with preparing documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence
- Help coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
- Answer phones and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist with special projects and basic process improvement tasks
- Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality of information
- Perform other duties as assigned to support corporate operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and follow instructions
