Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a day shift, requiring an AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Job Details

• Work on a Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting,

• Day shift position from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm,

• 13-week contract assignment,

• Care for a diverse adult patient population,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing,

• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment,

• Candidate must not have any employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years are not eligible,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg floor,

• Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 1 week,

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for travel positions,

• Returning travelers must not have been permanent staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years,
