RN - ICU

Alabama

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required.

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients, monitoring their vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement nursing care plans.

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Care for patients on ventilators and those receiving vasoactive drips.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

• Active Alabama or Multistate RN license (no prior NURSYS hits).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ICU RN.
• Experience with vented patients and vasoactive drips is essential.
