Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and an active AL or compact license for night shifts.

• Work in a medical-surgical unit on floor 6 in a hospital setting
• Night shift position with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for adult Med/Surg patient population
• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing care for Med/Surg patients
• RTO (time off) requests must be less than 1 week
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as determined by unit needs
• First time travelers will be considered

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• No lapses in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of assignment start
• Drivers license required for consideration
• Must not have worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No local travelers; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
