Welder Fitter

Our client, an industry leader in metal fabrication and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder Fitter to join their dynamic team. As a Welder Fitter, you will be integral to supporting manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality welds and precise metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Welder Fitter

Location: Hokes Bluff, AL

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on weld test results)

Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday - Saturday

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG welding on various materials using 0.35/0.45 wire.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Minimum of 3 years of welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings confidently.
• Proficiency in using tape measures and other measurement tools.
• Experience operating overhead cranes is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work overtime as needed.
