** Job Summary*
* The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized accounting and administrative tasks to support the facilities financial operations. This role involves generating financial reports, assisting with audits, compiling and maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Finance and Revenue Management teams with day-to-day tasks.
** Essential Functions*
* + Prepares and issues daily, weekly, and monthly financial collection reports to management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
+ Compiles and processes monthly departmental incentives from incentivized teams by payroll deadlines.
+ Performs various monthly audits and compiles Journal Entry electronic files for the Accounting department.
+ Assists with contest tracking, goal setting, and updating various reports as required.
+ Updates inventory files and assists with ad-hoc requests to ensure proper recordkeeping and reporting.
+ Conducts fixed asset and employee verifications annually to support organizational compliance and reporting requirements.
+ Maintains accurate and organized records for financial and operational documentation.
+ Provides general support by handling administrative and operational tasks as needed.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
** Qualifications*
* + 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role required
** Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
*
* + Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
+ Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
+ Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
