Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Cooks for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts! Calyx is looking to hire Cooks who are enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our kitchen, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food.

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.

• Follow recipes and plate food in an attractive manner
• Understand and comply with state regulations established for food service
• Prepare, organize and handle minimal special requests of senior residents
• Interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner
• Be quick and efficient during peak meal service times
• Available to work weekends
