Job Overview

The Operations Manager will lead and oversee Production and Warehouse operations at our manufacturing site. This role is critical for driving operational excellence, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with strong analytical skills, digital proficiency, and a proven track record of managing multiple departments simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy

    Provide strategic direction and leadership for Production and Warehouse teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Act as a servant leader, empowering teams and promoting collaboration across departments. Promote a discipline and respectful work environment.

  • Operational Excellence

    Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Develop and monitor digital dashboards and KPIs for real‑time performance tracking. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.

  • Employee Engagement & Culture

    Lead engagement programs to promote a positive and inclusive work environment. Foster open communication, recognition, and team‑building activities to enhance morale and retention.

  • Inventory Control & Accuracy

    Oversee and manage the Cycle Count team and program to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company standards. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to resolve discrepancies and maintain optimal inventory levels.

  • Data & Analytics

    Utilize advanced analytical skills to identify trends, solve problems, and optimize processes. Prepare and present operational reports using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Cross‑Functional Management

    Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operations. Manage resources effectively to meet production schedules and inventory targets.

  • Main KPI Responsibilities
    • Zero Accidents:
      Maintain a safe work environment with no recordable incidents.
    • Reduce Customer Complaints:
      Drive quality improvements to minimize external complaints.
    • Production Attainment:
      Achieve or exceed scheduled production targets.
    • Labor Efficiency:
      Optimize workforce productivity across all departments.
    • Indirect Labor Cost Optimization:
      Control and reduce non‑direct labor expenses.
    • Inventory Accuracy:
      Ensure production and warehouse high accuracy through effective cycle count programs and controls.
    • Department Engagement:
      Improve employee engagement scores through active programs and leadership.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience leading multiple departments in a manufacturing environment.

Skills: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools. Green belt certification. SAP proficient. Proficiency in MS Office and digital dashboard development. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated servant leadership and team development capabilities.

Preferred Attributes: Experience with digital transformation projects. Black belt certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
