Join our growing UNC Urgent Care provider team! This is an employed position with UNC Rex and is a shift-based model. Our provider team staffs our 9 UNC Rex based UNC Urgent Care clinics. Our clinics are across Wake County, and we are open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm.

We see ages 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based with a reservation and wait time system. We look forward to reviewing your application today!

1-2 years of APP experience preferred. ED/Urgent care experience preferred.

An Advanced Practice Provider functions as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients within the APPs scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician. The APP reflects the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (e.g., NP, PA, CNM, CRNA). Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Professional Experience Requirements: No prior experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/abilities: Demonstrated clinical competency, effective leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills, ability to document for accurate billing.
