Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1383) rting hourly rate: 19.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and resolve concerns; educate guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Know and explain tools, products, and services available in the total store; assist with enrollment in Target Loyalty programs as needed.
• Scan, bag, and handle items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards; minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Explain and assist with Target App features (Wallet), Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; direct guests to enroll and use these features.
• Handle returns in accordance with Target policies; collaborate with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards; support guest services such as order pickup and drive-up while complying with relevant laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
• Strong communication and a helpful attitude; attentiveness to guests and tasks; ability to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and in a team; stay focused in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle checkout operations, assist with cash office activities as needed; physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally; remain mobile throughout the shift.
