Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS/BLS, and at least 1.5 years of recent cath lab experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Cath Lab of an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 to 17:00
- On-call required for 2 nights per week and 1 weekend every two weeks, totaling 7 days per pay period
- Weekend shifts required, which may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
- Floating between like units across facilities within the state is required
- Charting is done using Meditech
- Support for interventional cardiology procedures and patient care in the cath lab
- Travelers are required to float as needed to meet facility requirements
- Royal blue scrubs required for RN staff
- Free parking is available onsite
- Holiday and schedule flexibility may be needed to meet unit needs
- Requested time off must be submitted with application; RTO requests post submittal may not be accommodated
- Active CA RN license required at time of application
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent cath lab RN experience is required; 2 years preferred
- No first-time travelers will be considered
- Epic EMR experience required
- Former perm staff must wait a minimum of 3 months before returning as travelers and cannot work within 50 miles of their previous facility
