Description
The Staffing Coordinator collaborates with the Administrative Supervisor, Nurse Managers, and Nursing Directors to coordinate the 24‑hour centralized staffing program in nursing services. The role coordinates patient placement, discharges, and transfers to ensure expeditious placement in diagnostically appropriate areas of care in accordance with patient acuity, unit census, and departmental policies and procedures. The coordinator utilizes assistance from the staffing team to ensure placement of patients meets current staffing ratios and initiates dialogue as anticipated needs fluctuate, thereby assisting professional staff in meeting patient care needs of the institution.
The coordinator maintains and keeps the bed board current and supports the accuracy of systems for evening closure.
- Coordinate patient placement, discharges, and transfers ensuring compliance with acuity, census, and policies.

- 3 years of experience in a specialty or related area.

Pay RangeBase pay range: $24.00 – $29.82 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, premiums, incentive pay, or bonus opportunities.
