Quality Technician/ Inspector, Quality Control / Manager
We're currently hiring on behalf of a client in the aerospace and manufacturing sector that's expanding their quality team with a Receiving Inspector
.
The Receiving Inspector will play a key role in verifying incoming parts and components meet quality, engineering, and customer specifications before entering production.
SHIFT : 7am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts, hose assemblies, and machined components
- Ensure conformance to engineering drawings and specifications
- Use tools including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and comparators
- Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and maintain accurate inspection records
- Communicate findings with internal teams and suppliers
- Support occasional in-process inspections and internal audits
- Follow company safety policies, quality procedures, and 5S standards
- Minimum 1 year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong blueprint reading and basic GD&T understanding
- Proficient in the use of manual inspection tools
- Comfortable documenting inspection results and communicating with teams
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) per ITAR regulations
- Vision: 20/25 or better (corrective lenses acceptable); cannot be colorblind
$27 -$28/hr starting rate
