Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our plumbing business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in plumbing systems, and a proven track record in managing teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of plumbers and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

Project Management:
Coordinate and schedule plumbing projects, including installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation.

Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout all plumbing projects, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Customer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, codes, and safety standards, implementing policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment for employees and clients.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Performance Analysis:
Analyze operational performance metrics, such as productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing for materials and services.

Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department, identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and skills development to enhance overall performance and competitiveness.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the plumbing industry, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, techniques, and materials.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
