Sterile Processing Tech - Evenings

Overview

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning, preparation and sterilization of instruments, trays and equipment; operating departmental machinery; receiving, labeling, stocking and delivery of supplies and equipment; operating a computer, answering phones and filling orders; cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces and storage areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or
• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification
• 1 year experience as a Sterile Processing Tech

Pay Range: $24.00 - $31.52 per hour. The base pay range may be supplemented by shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
