Description

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning, preparation and sterilization of instruments, trays and equipment; operating departmental machinery; receiving, labeling, stocking and delivery of supplies and equipment; operating a computer, answering phones and filling orders; and cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces and storage areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification
• 1 year experience as a Sterile Processing Tech

Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. This base pay range may be supplemented by additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
