The Sustainable Investment Analyst role is crucial to enhancing Fullerton’s sustainable investing initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the selected candidate will collaborate with the investment team to integrate sustainability measures across asset classes. This role involves substantial participation in optimizing ESG data operations, supporting investment decision-making, and contributing to corporate sustainability reporting. The analyst will also engage with various stakeholders to identify and research investment opportunities, focusing on maximizing investment alpha through sustainable means.

Key areas of focus include ESG factor analysis, integrating sustainability strategies, and active ownership efforts.

• Assist and support the Head of Sustainability and Investment Group to deliver risk-adjusted returns.
• Prepare investment memos identifying investable secular trends for public equities.
• Conduct ESG factor analysis influencing credit ratings in fixed income.
• Support ESG due diligence in private equity decarbonization funds.
• Contribute to ESG quantitative research for alpha generation.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a relevant discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or investment setting.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or another data science programming language.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.
• 2+ years of work experience with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
