Team Leader (Night Shift 11pm - 9am)
Join the Crittenton Services team as a Team Leader for the night shift.
Position SummaryOversee daily activities in assigned cottage(s) as directed by Unit Supervisor. Provide supervision to assigned program staff including hiring, training, weekly supervision and performance documentation to ensure continuity of care and accountability of services.
Essential Duties- Acquire, maintain, teach and demonstrate knowledge of Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) and Sexual Harassment standards at care provider facilities, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care.
- Demonstrate effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
- Maintain vigilant supervision of youth placed in 24/7 care.
- Actively engage and encourage youth toward their treatment goals and in daily living.
- Regularly transport youth to appointments, recreation activities, court, family visits, etc.
- Prepare timely and accurate documentation.
- Understand and retain instructions for complex tasks.
- Set clear, measurable and specific goals for assigned staff and meet weekly for review.
- Provide specific performance feedback to staff, both positive and corrective, as soon as possible after event or action.
- Oversee written evaluations, submitted evaluations and any rate change submissions for approval.
- Present evaluation to staff.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license.
- Must successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR.
- Must understand and follow policy and procedures.
- Must document services, incidents, and other required forms.
- BA/BS in related field; if lacking degree, meet alternative minimum qualifications established by California Department of Social Services and/or Office of Refugee Resettlement. Experience working with immigrant or refugee populations strongly preferred.
Salary Range: $44,782 - $58,821
The posted pay scale for this position serves as a general disclosure. Actual pay offered within the range will be dependent on individual factors such as skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
