Time Base: Full Time
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours.

The Executive Assistant to the Vice President (Executive Assistant III) provides highly sensitive and confidential administrative, operational, and project management support for the Vice President.
The role offers executive-level functions, financial, analytical and technical responsibilities, and manages complex and high-impact special projects and events for the Vice President's Office. The Executive Assistant is the primary resource person and information liaison for the Vice President’s Office and works closely with other senior leaders, board members, and external stakeholders.
Oversight of highly sensitive documents and collaboration with the Chief of Operations and the Vice President’s administrative team; agile, proactive, and reflective executive-level functions; independent wide range of high-level administrative, financial, analytical, and technical responsibilities; coordination of board relations for the Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Foundation board; management of complex and high-impact special projects and events; leadership and independent approaches to projects and priorities;
creative determination methods to meet goals; representation of the division as the primary resource person and information liaison for the President’s Office and other senior administrators; communication with city officials, donors, and Chancellor’s Office executives and staff; providing leadership and independent approaches to projects and priorities; judgment in development of policies and procedures; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience. Advanced degree may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision; advanced discernment in selecting methods and techniques for recommending and implementing solutions; experience managing complex and high-impact special projects; ability to assess and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures; advanced public and internal relations skills;
