Maintenance Manager - Restaurant

Apt Resources is looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a high-end restaurant in Dubai. In this crucial role, you will ensure that all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in excellent working order to support a seamless dining experience. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of skilled technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

• Develop and implement a proactive maintenance management program for all restaurant facilities and equipment.
• Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant's facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
• Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health and hygiene standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, restaurant equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Highly organized, with strong Excel and documentation skills
• Experience in Dubai, UAE, or the wider GCC is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of kitchen maintenance
