Key Responsibilities
- Carry out survey setting out for storm water pipelines, manholes, catch pits, gullies, culverts, and outfalls
- Set out invert levels, slopes, alignments, and coordinates for drainage networks
- Verify pipeline gradients and flow directions as per approved drawings
- Conduct as-built surveys for storm water works and prepare submission drawings
- Check manhole locations, depths, cover levels, and benching levels
- Monitor excavation, bedding, pipe laying, and back filling levels
- Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, consultants, and subcontractors
- Prepare and submit survey reports, level sheets, and inspection records
- Ensure survey works comply with municipality and authority standards
- Assist in resolving site discrepancies and clashes with existing utilities
- Maintain accuracy of control points and benchmarks
- Excellent understanding of invert levels and hydraulic slopes
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and site pressure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong coordination and reporting skills
