Part-Time General Surgeon Position in Frostburg, MD with National Wound Physician Group

Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

• Provide bedside wound care in facilities across multiple sites.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Visit facilities as part of a mobile practice within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Manage patient care for approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities per day.
• Document clinical information at the point of care during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Participate in paid training during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract with no work visa sponsorship available.

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

• Full-time work:
  Monday – Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Practice involves delivering care at the bedside in post-acute settings.
• Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.
• Mobile practice with facilities in a 40–60 mile radius.
• Approximately 2–3 facilities visited per day; 20–30 patients treated per day.
• Clinical documentation is performed at the point of care in real-time during rounds using the proprietary EMR.
• Paid training provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no visa sponsorship).
