Pay and schedule details are described below.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.65 per mile with approximately 2200 miles per week
• 2 – 3 layovers per week
• Sign-on bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
• Paid Training

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and Ryder drivers fuel the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in last 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
