1st Shift General Warehouse

Position Summary

Provides production and quality support to the Bulk operation through processing damages, performing bust out and housekeeping duties as assigned in order to maintain a consistent workflow.

• Ensure work areas are supplied for the next shift to minimize downtime.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Remove and process damaged merchandise and return stray cases to correct pick slots to assist Order Fillers in maintaining quality standards.
• Break down master cases in FDS pack and load cardboard within the required timeframe.
• Flip cases to ensure barcode visibility before scanning, improving sorter efficiency.
• Complete daily P.I.T. checklist and report any defects to management or maintenance.
• Operate P.I.T. equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.
• Maintain an organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Bulk department.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
• Availability:
  Must work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Frequently lift and move up to 50 lb; occasionally lift and move up to 80 lb; adequate fitness for walking, standing, moderate climbing, sitting, stooping, kneeling.
