Ensures program success by maintaining attendance and participation in the classroom and clinical settings to support the Nurse Aide Training Program learning experience. Under the supervision of the program instructors, actively participates in classroom and skills lab activities and performs routine personal care duties for residents/patients. Maintains a safe environment and program equipment and reports any problems. Supports the mission and vision of Warren Memorial Hospital and participates in the coordination and promotion of community health and other events.

Demonstrates work schedule flexibility and willingness to accept additional duties and responsibilities to meet the needs of the department.

• Maintain attendance and participation in classroom and clinical settings to support the Nurse Aide Training Program learning experience.
• Actively participate in classroom and skills lab activities under the supervision of program instructors.
• Perform routine personal care duties for residents/patients and maintain a safe environment and program equipment; report any problems.
• Support the hospital’s mission and vision and contribute to community health events.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule and willingness to take on additional duties to meet department needs.
• Be willing to learn basic principles of human growth and development.
• Be willing to learn competence to successfully interact with patients according to their age-related needs.
• Maintain reliable means of phone communication with the facility.

High School or GED required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and exercise good judgment.
