Job Description
The Clinical Instructor works with students in the didactic and clinical settings, preparing students for a career in radiologic technology. The Instructor prepares lesson plans, teaches classes, conducts positioning labs, and instructs and evaluates students in the clinical setting. The Instructor assists in the application process and selection of students admitted to the program. The Instructor will perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

ExperienceMinimum of two years full-time clinical research experience or relevant clinical education equivalent to nursing required.
Certification & LicensuresAART Credential in radiography required.
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required.
- New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
Must demonstrate proficiency in clinical instruction and student evaluation through experience or by pursuing courses pertinent to the profession. Need to function calmly and efficiently under stressful conditions while maintaining professional attitude as an example to students and staff. Must document to JRCERT satisfactory completion of one of the following:
Documentation of having worked closely with students in the clinical setting for a period of at least 1 year;
Associate or more advanced degree with 2 year certification as a Radiologic Technologist;
Be willing to work toward an associate degree in Radiologic Technology or appropriate educational methodologies as required by the JRCERT.
