Air Import Clerk Value Goods; Temp to Perm

A well-established freight forwarding company based in Feltham is seeking an experienced Air Import Clerk to join their team on a 3-month temp to perm basis, with an immediate start available.

The role will involve start-to-finish management of air import shipments, handling high value goods, and using Cargo Wise as the main operating system.

• Handling air import shipments from start to finish
• Managing high value cargo with accuracy and discretion
• Preparing and processing all import documentation
• Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, hauliers, and customers
• Arranging customs clearance and liaising with HMRC as required
• Using Cargo Wisefor  all operational processes
• Tracking shipments and providing regular updates to clients
• Ensuring full compliance with import regulations
• Resolving any operational issues or delays

• Strong knowledge of air import operations (start to finish)
• Experience handling high value goods
• Cargo Wise experience is essential
• Ability to start immediately or at short notice
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Right to work in the UK and five year checkable history
