About the Company

Sweet Bee Organics is a rapidly growing organic wellness and skincare company redefining what “clean” truly means. With operations in both the UK and US, we craft high-performance, non-toxic products that merge ancient wisdom with modern science—from award-winning magnesium balms and botanical skincare to innovative adaptogenic blends and wellness formulas.

About the Role

Sweet Bee Organics is seeking a technical powerhouse to lead our ingestible wellness category. As the Food & Supplement Innovation Manager, you will bridge the gap between botanical tradition and rigorous nutritional science. You will be responsible for the scientific integrity, safety, and efficacy of our adaptogenic blends, tinctures, and supplements, ensuring every formula is as bioavailable as it is "clean".

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulation Leadership:
Lead the formulation development for the consumable wellness category, focusing heavily on high-performance dietary supplements and functional foods.
  • Scientific Rigor:
Ensure all ingestible formulations meet strict safety & regulatory standards.
  • Bioavailability & Efficacy:
Optimize the delivery and absorption of active botanicals and minerals, ensuring our products deliver measurable wellness results.
  • Technical Translation:
Work closely with our internal marketing and claims team to translate the science into customer friendly and desirable language.
  • Scale-Up Excellence:
Lead the transition of supplement and food batches from the lab bench to full-scale manufacturing, maintaining consistency and cost‑efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education:

Degree (BSc or higher preferred) in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience:

Proven track record in supplement formulation and successfully bringing products to the market, specifically within the natural or organic sector.
  • Mindset:
Highly creative and detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and a passion for redefining the 'clean' supplement market.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working with organic or natural certification bodies (e.g., Soil Association, COSMOS).
    • Experience managing relationships with UK and US regulatory consultants and testing labs.
    • Passion for wellness, sustainability, and creating meaningful, science-led products.
