As a General Cover Teacher, you provide the vital expertise that keeps local secondary schools running smoothly, delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects.

Your Role as a Classroom Expert As a Supply Teacher, you are the professional face of the school in the absence of the permanent lead.

Utilise your classroom management expertise to maintain a calm, focused, and inclusive learning environment.

Flexible Support:

Leave concise notes for the returning teacher to ensure seamless continuity of learning.

Essential Requirements To be considered for this General Cover Teaching role, you must meet the following:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS:
Mandatory for this position.

Adaptability:
The ability to step into any subject-from Humanities to Art-and deliver a high-quality session.

Classroom Presence:
Strong rapport-building skills and the confidence to manage 30 students effectively.

Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and a total commitment to Safeguarding.
