NT Logistics is currently looking for an experienced Carrier Operations Representative working out of their Frisco, TX office. At NT Logistics we look for future leaders who can innovate and think outside the box while successfully managing our customers freight needs. Our successful candidate will embody first class customer service, operational excellence, and communication across our entire customer network.

To perform this job successfully, a qualified individual must be able to satisfactorily perform the following essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation:

• Build quality and long-lasting carrier relationships to proactively cover all customer shipments with a sense of urgency.
• Without fail, cover, track and trace and communicate to all parties involved, any logistical challenges that would result in a poor customer experience.
• A get it done attitude when needing to recover customer loads.
• Frequently collaborate with NT Sales and Operations personnel.
• Provide sales team with truckload rate information on all opportunities promptly.
• Implement and maintain best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong carrier negotiation skills with an emphasis on driving margin.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Motivated to lead by example and function in a dynamic and growing company environment.
• Active participation in weekly operations meetings as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.

• Ability to energize and influence change efforts at all levels of a complex organization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and transportation in a highly regulated industry.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to interface and influence at all organizational levels.
• Excellent understanding of data analytic and statistical tools, capable of explaining the underlying concepts and principles.
• Demonstrated use of Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Track record of delivering results with a passion to win.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent decision-making skills, considering all relevant factors and stakeholders.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The work requires a majority of sedentary type functions. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, including transportation of items such as a laptop computer, and marketing materials, etc.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. Additionally, the employee is occasionally required to climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel or crouch.
