Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Regional Driver to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods within a designated region. The ideal candidate will possess keen attention to detail, strong driving skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial vehicles in accordance with company policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any vehicle issues promptly.
  • Plan and execute delivery routes within the assigned region to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Safely load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and rest periods.
  • Communicate regularly with the dispatch team regarding schedules, delays, or any issues encountered.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Use GPS and tracking systems to optimize routes and guarantee on-time deliveries.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company professionally and courteously.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and organized, both inside and outside.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a commercial driver, preferably in a regional driving role.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal commercial driving regulations.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures.
  • Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, semi-trucks, and flatbeds.
  • Experience with GPS and vehicle tracking systems.
  • Capability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented with a professional and courteous demeanor.
