Job description About the Company

We are a growing, family-oriented company where service is our first priority. Karl’s Transport, Inc. was started in 1985 by Karl Schulz and his fleet consisted of 3 trucks. Today our fleet has 131 company drivers, 4 owner‑operators, 28 reefers, 450 dry vans, and 9 dump trucks. We operate all late‑model Kenworth tractors and late‑model Utility trailers.

No forced dispatch. Driver determines which day of the week they want to start. Yearly safety bonus. Quarterly performance bonus. Quarterly no citations/warnings bonus. We offer 1 quarterly fuel bonuses. 3 trip a week bonus (is dependent on shipping lanes).

• $1,400 - $1,600 total weekly avg. pay
• 2,500 - 3,000 avg. miles per week
• No Driver Load/Unload
• No slip seating

• 12 - 14 expected days out
• You can stay out longer if you want to
• Get 3 days of home time for every 14 days worked

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.

• Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, (K) Intrastate Only or (V) Medical Variance
