Sam Carter Service Center

Under general supervision, perform general maintenance and replace filters throughout the district. Assist with the maintenance of HVAC equipment.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Texas Driver License and insurable driving record with FISD insurance carrier

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general building maintenance
• Assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of district facilities, including HVAC and motors; repairing and replacing filter grills and condensate leaks, and replacing ceiling tiles
• Perform maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Operate light truck to transport filters and HVAC equipment throughout the district
• Operate equipment and use tools following established safety procedures
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
• Correct unsafe conditions in the area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain tools and equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required
• Frisco ISD may adjust the responsibilities and assignments of all positions as needed to meet the needs of the District
