Hyatt Regency Frisco is conveniently located just 25 minutes north of Dallas and features 303 guestrooms and 27,500 square feet of flexible event space. The 18‑story hotel is situated in the heart of Frisco, Texas, adjacent to Stonebriarne Centre, offering immediate access to shopping, dining, and entertainment.

The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, is a business travel and leisure travel sales professional who has demonstrated, through performance, a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions, and the hotel and business travel industry. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel, and wholesale groups.

Duties include managing current accounts, ensuring proper solicitation of all transient markets, and actively prospecting for new business through cold calling, in‑market sales calls, and relationship development with local corporations and businesses. This role requires consistent outreach to identify, qualify, and secure new corporate transient accounts and may include travel to major cities within the assigned market.

The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, must be willing to attend local Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) events, actively participate in CVB initiatives, and represent the hotel within the local business and travel community to generate new business and strengthen market presence. This position also requires experience with, or a willingness to develop and execute, in‑house events, promotions, and initiatives targeted to Business Travel (BT) travelers, in collaboration with hotel leadership and operations teams.

Additional duties include preparing and presenting effective proposals and presentations; maintaining well‑organized documentation, account records, and sales reports; utilizing Hyatt technology systems; and coordinating customer service requirements with hotel operations staff, as appropriate. The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, will also participate in and may lead event meetings, sales meetings, and other staff meetings.

The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, works as a team member with the sales and catering staff, assigned Administrative Assistant, and other support staff to achieve revenue goals and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications
  • A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, service driven environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present professionally to internal and external partners
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Business Travel sales experience within a hotel environment, or within the Frisco market is required
  • Proficiency in gerneral computer applications and sales technology systems, including Hotelligence, CVENT/Lanyon, and
  • Training or demonstrated proficiency in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills
  • Community involvement and/or participation in professional associations is highly regarded
  • Active involvement in the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) is preferred
