Overview:

A Software Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Aezion is responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers through lead generation, cold calling, and outreach, passing qualified leads to the sales team to close deals. The SDR acts as the initial contact point to gauge interest and fit for our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Create a pipeline of potential customers via online databases, social media, networking events, and cold calling.
  • Qualifying Leads: Engage prospects to understand their needs and determine fit for our solutions.
  • Educating Prospects: Explain features and benefits of our software, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Setting Appointments: Schedule meetings between qualified leads and the sales team for further discussions and demos.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate lead information in the CRM system.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track key metrics and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build rapport with potential customers
    • Persuasive selling techniques
    • Knowledge of the software industry and competitors
    • Proficiency with CRM tools
    • Strong time management and organizational skills for handling a large volume of leads
