As a leading full-service fluids and systems provider to the vehicle care industry, NCS has served customers in North America for more than 50 years. The company provides comprehensive systems and aftermarket support, including service, parts, and environmentally friendly cleaning fluids.

Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Associate within the Parts & eCommerce team, you will be responsible for growing NCS’s recurring book of Parts business with a select group of multi-site car wash operators, for which you will become the subject matter expert and main point of contact for all Parts revenue generating related questions.

You will be required to frequently collaborate (virtually and in-person) with different team members within a customer’s organization (Maintenance, Purchasing, Finance), as well as NCS’s Sales and Operations teams, to identify tangible growth opportunities, monitor and support their execution, and remove potential roadblocks in the way of increasing NCS’s share of wallet.

Successful candidates are self-starter individual contributors in the Aftermarket space who excel in supporting large corporate accounts from within matrixed B2B organizations. They combine excellent analytical and communication skills (both verbal and in writing) with a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to react and multitask in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.

Job Duties
  • Analyze customer’s Parts spend data and identify specific Parts categories where NCS’s value proposition (pricing, product availability) allows it to become the primary supplier.
  • Lead change management efforts to realign buying behavior within assigned accounts by closely collaborating with both NCS’s Account Management and Customer’s teams.
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report progress on Parts conversion efforts (financial & operational metrics), as well as field questions/requests needed for external/internal review meetings.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly, ensuring a seamless experience and serving as the first escalation point for any Parts related issues.
  • Champion the customer's perspective within the NCS organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voice is heard and feedback acted upon.
  • Manage one-off Parts quote requests, collaborating with NCS’s Supply Management team to provide competitive pricing and accurate product availability information.
  • Provide backorder updates (on request) and expedite the resolution of returns/ claims.
What You Need
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferably in a $10M+ Parts business for an OEM or a Distributor in the Car Wash, Automotive, HVAC or adjacent industrial goods and services B2B spaces.
  • Proven understanding of Inside Sales and Customer Service principles, and a passion for creating seamless and consistently positive customer experiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior attention to detail and the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with experience in successfully collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Understands the work is only truly done when all orders and questions for that day have been reviewed and addressed.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, namely:
