• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve needs when assistance is requested.
• Inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit to Target.
• Know and communicate the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features within the Target App, including Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Assist with returns following register prompts; partner with leaders as needed while following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by removing unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers as needed.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU) and drive-up (DU) orders, and comply with relevant laws (e.g., adult beverage laws). All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times).

• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office activities as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without additional assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance is necessary.
• Must be mobile for the duration of a shift (shift length may vary).
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
