Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a motivated and passionate bartender for the Ryder Cup Grille, an all‑day dining venue with Texas charm and comfort. This part‑time position requires efficient, friendly customer service, a clean professional appearance, and prompt guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate needs and respond to inquiries.
- Have full knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
- Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Provide silverware and condiments before presenting food at the bar.
- Clean and reset the bar area as guests depart or after drink preparation.
- Setup and break down the bar properly.
- Follow triple‑sink procedures.
- Communicate professionally with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff.
- Contribute to a professional workplace maximizing employee morale and productivity.
- Work well with a diverse front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff.
- Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal requirements, including carding.
- Accurately take orders and record transactions in the Micros system.
- Maintain guest tabs and process payments promptly.
- Monitor pars and manage pace of service.
- Sell and upsell products.
- Work in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience; high‑volume casual environment preferred.
- Commitment to quality service and comprehensive food and beverage knowledge.
- Strong communication skills with knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
- Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certificates, or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work outdoors.
