ER/CC Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Are you an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician with strong leadership skills, seeking a dedicated, team-oriented environment committed to exceptional patient care and client service?

Look no further! North Dallas Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital (ND VESH) is a brand-new, 13,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility located in Frisco, TX, and we’re looking for talented individuals like you to join our growing team as an ER/CC Veterinary Technician Supervisor!

Position Overview:

As the ER/CC Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing our team of Veterinary Technicians. You will lead by example, facilitating effective communication, coaching, and professional development within your team. Additionally, you will remain hands‑on, delivering high‑quality patient care while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is 75% technical and 25% administrative.

  • Mentor and coach your team to foster strong performance, high productivity, and the consistent delivery of exceptional medical care.
  • Maintain expert‑level proficiency in veterinary technician skills, working alongside your team to provide hands‑on, high‑quality patient care.
  • Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, facilitating clear and efficient communication of policies, standards, and performance goals.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to drive service excellence and streamline operational efficiency.
  • Actively support team members in anticipating and addressing client and patient needs, especially during challenging or escalated situations, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Coordinate Veterinary Technician and Assistant meetings as well as training schedules, in partnership with hospital leadership, to ensure continuous team development.
  • Provide constructive performance feedback and assist in creating improvement plans, schedules, and recruitment strategies to help Veterinary Technicians reach their full potential.

WE ARE OFFERING A SIGNING BONUS FOR THIS ROLE!

Compensation:
  • $27-$32 hourly, based on experience
  • ++ $$$ SIGN ON BONUS offered!
    • $2000 for credentialed technicians
    • $1000 for non‑credentialed technicians

About You:
  • You are a confident and highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician, and/or you are an Experienced Veterinary Technician with 5+ years of proven supervisory experience, dedicated to delivering exceptional client service and top‑notch patient care.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills allow you to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels, from clients to doctors and hospital staff.
  • You recognize the value of fostering a positive, respectful, and uplifting hospital culture and work to ensure its continued success.
  • Your exceptional time management and organizational skills, paired with a keen attention to detail, enable you to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
  • You demonstrate unwavering integrity, confidentiality, and high ethical standards in everything you do.
  • With strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking abilities, you contribute to improving hospital operations and ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages is a plus!
