We’re looking for Labor and Delivery RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Frisco, TX. The right RN should have 3 years’ recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery.
• Ensure medical and emotional needs of patients are met during the birthing process.
• Assist physicians with epidural administration, pain medications, episiotomies and cesarean preparations.
• Monitor labor: monitor contractions, help with breathing techniques, check cervical progress.
• Maintain cleanliness of beds and surroundings.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate care of newborns.

L&D Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty, lift up to 20 pounds comfortably and occasionally up to 50 pounds when moving patients. They must handle stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment
