About Us: The North Texas Institute of Neurology and Headache (NTINH) is a leading specialty neurology practice dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant with a passion for neurology to join our team with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) management. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside a team of neurologists and MS specialists at our Plano and Frisco locations.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will provide advanced care to patients living with MS and related neuroimmunological conditions. This role involves both direct patient care and coordination with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, compassionate treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and medication management for individuals with MS
- Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and clinical staff to develop and monitor treatment plans
- Perform thorough physical examinations and document patient history and progress
- Educate patients and families on MS, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and symptom management
- Coordinate care across multiple specialties as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
Qualifications:
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Texas
- NCCPA certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of neurology or related experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotation in neurology will be considered)
- Interest or experience in Multiple Sclerosis and neuroimmunology strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Work Schedule &
Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends or hospital call
- Time will be divided between Plano and Frisco offices
