Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced nurse for a travel nursing assignment. This role offers a direct-application travel experience with more transparency and fewer recruiter calls.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Experience:
  
  • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
  
  • Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
  
  • 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Requirements:
  
  • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
  
  • This role will require floating to multiple units.
  
  • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
  
  • Pre-employment modules may be required. Please upload any certifications or health documents to your profile to expedite onboarding.
• Skills & Experience:
  
  • 2+ years of Hosp/Specialty experience. Family centered care.
• Preferred Skills/
  
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • CPN. Care for infants requiring CPAP or ventilation. Experience with Central Lines. Stabilization experience/attending deliveries. Developmental care.

• We will staff with a minimum of 2 NICU RNs per shift. 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage along with 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist and anesthesiologist.

• Weekend – Every other.
• Floating Requirements:
  As needed, to nursery.
• Time-off: 10 days maximum.

• 1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
• Driver’s license required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)

  Certifications:
  
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition, Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
