As an Apartment Maintenance Technician at Gaines Investment Trust, you play a critical role in ensuring the community remains a high-quality living environment for residents. Your expertise in repairs, preventative maintenance, and customer service contributes to resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the long-term success of the property.

• Deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services that enhance the resident experience.
• Ensure the property maintains strong curb appeal and is well-kept.
• Respond promptly to service requests to minimize resident disruptions and maximize retention.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance and office teams to streamline operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend the life of property assets.
• Maintain compliance with safety and industry regulations.
• Be dependable for scheduled rotational on-call emergency duties.

We are seeking a hands-on, solution-driven professional with:

• 2+ years of maintenance and make-ready experience in multifamily housing.
• A valid driver’s license (required).
• HVAC certification OR EPA certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to repairs.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality work.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with residents, onsite staff, and management.
• A positive and customer-service-oriented attitude.
