QA Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join an agile team responsible for testing scalable data pipelines on a cloud-native Lakehouse platform. This role involves designing automated test frameworks, validating complex ETL/ELT processes, and ensuring data quality for various EDI transactions using SQL and modern Dev Ops practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work within an agile team to design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans and cases
• Implement automated testing for cloud-native Lakehouse data platforms
• Write complex and efficient SQL queries for data validation across ETL/ELT pipelines
• Collaborate with analysts and product managers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize and troubleshoot pipeline performance and data reliability
• Ensure end-to-end data quality and accuracy through robust validation techniques
• Follow Dev Ops principles using CI/CD practices for test automation and deployment

• Strong understanding of software development best practices in QA
• Proven experience in testing ETL/ELT pipelines and EDI transactions (835, 837, 834, 820, 276/277, 270/271, 999/997)
• Proficiency in writing SQL for data validation and analysis
• Experience with automation tools such as Karate, Visual Studio, Selenium
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (Git Hub, Git Hub Actions)

• Experience with cloud-native Lakehouse platforms
• Knowledge of Dev Ops pipelines and infrastructure as code
