Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer with extensive hands‑on experience supporting and maintaining enterprise mainframe environments. The role focuses on z/OS upgrades, system maintenance, ISV product management, performance tuning, and system stability
.

• Plan and execute z/OS upgrades
  , maintenance, IPLs, and PTF/APAR application using SMP/E
• Install, configure, and support ISV products (Broadcom/CA, BMC, IBM, Rocket)
• Monitor and tune system performance using RMF, SMF, Omegamon, WLM
• Manage PARMLIBs, system datasets, JES2/JES3, and storage components
• Provide expert‑level incident support and participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation
• Support Disaster Recovery and ensure high availability
• Enforce mainframe security (RACF / ACF2 / Top Secret) and compliance

• 15+ years of Mainframe z/OS Systems Programming experience
• Strong expertise in z/OS installation, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Hands‑on experience with ISV tools (Security, Scheduling, Storage, DB2/IMS)
• Proficiency in JCL, SMP/E, JES2/JES3, REXX
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, VTAM
  , and Parallel Sysplex (preferred)

• Mainframe modernization or hybrid cloud exposure
• z/OS or mainframe‑related certifications
