Cobb Fendley is seeking a skilled Deltek Application Administrator with hands‑on experience in Deltek Vantagepoint and a deep familiarity with financial management, project/resource management, and business development modules. This role involves actively supporting and optimizing Deltek ERP solutions specifically tailored to the engineering industry. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver who can assist end‑users directly, ensure smooth system functionality, and apply best practices in ERP administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day-to-Day System Administration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Deltek Vantagepoint administrative tasks, including setup, configuration, and user management.
  • Manage user roles, access permissions, and system configurations to align with project and financial management needs.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate with Deltek support for resolution as needed.
  • Conduct periodic system audits and provide recommendations for system optimization.
• End‑User Support & Training
  • Provide hands‑on support for end‑users, answering questions and resolving technical issues across financial management and project/resource management modules.
  • Conduct training sessions and create instructional materials to help users effectively leverage Deltek's functionalities.
  • Proactively gather feedback from users to identify common issues or potential improvements to workflows.
• Financial Management Module
  • Configure and maintain the Deltek financial management module to support accurate billing, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to support month‑end and year‑end closing, reporting, and audit requests.
  • Ensure the system captures financial data accurately and in compliance with organizational policies and construction industry standards.
• Project and Resource Management Module
  • Configure and support the project management and resource planning functions, enabling teams to track progress, budgets, and timelines efficiently.
  • Work directly with Deltek Administrators to customize workflows, dashboards, and project templates.
• CRM Module
  • Configure and support the CRM functions
  • Collaborate closely with marketing team to implement process and development training program
