Seasonal Pool Cocktail Server
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Assistant Director of Food & Beverage / Outlets Manager
Status: Seasonal / On-Call
Location: HALL Park Hotel, Autograph Collection
Position Summary
The Seasonal Pool Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests at the pool bar. This role ensures a welcoming and energetic environment while maintaining the hotel’s high service standards. The server will work closely with the bartender and pool bar team to provide prompt, friendly, and professional service during peak seasonal periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging service to all pool guests, taking beverage and light food orders promptly.
- Deliver drinks and menu items accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool bar, seating areas, and service stations.
- Monitor guest consumption and adhere to all TABC and hotel alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the pool bar for daily operations.
- Support bartenders and team members as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Handle guest concerns or requests with professionalism and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of cocktail recipes, seasonal offerings, and hotel amenities.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Previous serving or cocktailing experience preferred; luxury or resort experience is a plus.
- TABC Certification (required).
- Food Handler’s Certification (required).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions around the pool area.
- Must be able to work weekends:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (core pool staffing days). - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
