Overview

The Part-Time Technologist Aide acts as a support for the client and the Imaging Technologist. This position reports to the Office Manager. This position is based out of our Imaging office in Frisco, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Preparation
    :
    Assist with dressing/undressing, ensure comfort, provide explanations, and help with basic needs
  • Patient Transport
    :
    Move patients safely to and from the radiology department and other areas
  • Room & Equipment Maintenance
    :
    Clean, stock, and organize exam rooms; maintain and troubleshoot equipment
  • Procedural Support
    :
    Assist technologists with patient positioning, sometimes helping with contrast media preparation
  • Administrative Duties
    :
    Manage patient records and data entry
  • Workflow & Safety
    :
    Follow infection control protocols, maintain a clean environment, and support efficient department workflow
  • Attention to Detail
    :
    Crucial for patient safety and accurate records
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and 1-2 years of related experience preferred
  • Availability up to 30 hours per week based on business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and other basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with imaging software and information systems
  • PACS & RIS experience preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Professional and courteous demeanor in person and on the phone
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently with accuracy and autonomy
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Ability to assist and position patients, including lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance
  • Requires standing/sitting for extended periods, moving/lifting patients, and operating imaging equipment
