As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a valued part of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care. You will prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure every patient receives compassionate care. Responsibilities- Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.
- Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
- Providing instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
- Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly.
- Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient‑centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- (TS‑C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist.
- One‑year experience as an OB Technician, Operating Room.
- Graduate of an accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist and current CST or completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.
